Untitled polearm wizard
UNDER CONSTRUCTION
this is going to be a wizard subclass all about being a badass with a magical polearm
Martial Training
When you adopt this tradition at 2nd level, you gain proficiency in light armor, spears, and your choice of glaives, halberds, or pikes.
Mystic Spearhand
When you adopt this tradition at 2nd level, you gain the True Strike cantrip. If you already have the true strike cantrip, you gain another cantrip from the wizard spell list of your choice.
Furthermore, you can use any polearm you are proficient in as an Arcane Focus, and you can use such a polearm to deliver melee spell attacks and spells with a range of touch at an additional 5 feet of reach. (Glaives, Halberds, Lances, Pikes, Quarterstaffs, Spears, and Tridents are polearms.)
Extra Attack
Starting at 6th level, you can attack twice, instead of once, whenever you take the Attack action on your turn. Moreover, you can cast one of your cantrips in place of one of those attacks.
10th level
As an action, you can expend charges from a staff or wand to enhance a polearm that you wield. The weapon becomes a magic weapon for the next hour, with a +1 bonus to attack rolls and damage rolls for every two charges expended, to a maximum of +3. This does not stack with any existing bonus the weapon may have if already magical.
