Highspire, Caer Dunvane - In the wee hours of friday night, justice was finally served to a scourge on our fair city. Following an anonymous tip, Dunvane Metropolitan finally put mitts on the slippery Bartholomew "Bats" Grindle, a hobgoblin pimp of some infamy. Rumor has it that Bats ran half the vice in Ironhaven, but when he was finally tracked down, it was to a fine townhouse on Silver Street in Highspire.

The anonymous tip was "shockingly thorough and impecabbly detailed" reported Inspective Detector Borscht of the 5th Precinct, providing exacting details of Grindle's whereabouts, habits, and business dealings. According to the Detector, they should be able to put Bats behind bars for a long, long time with the evidence they've acquired.

Alongside Bats himself, the raid also turned up a number of illicit potions, a variety of cursed amulets and rings, and detailed ledgers of income from prostitution, smuggling, gambling dens, and blackmail throughout The Burrows, The Old Ward, and Ironhaven.

The late night raid in the respectable neighborhood was quite a shock to the residents, who had no idea that such darkness was lurking on their fine streets. "I thought he was one of the good ones.", one elven lady on the street was heard to say. But clearly, even a clean face can hide a dirty soul.
